The death of Sanford “Sam” Douglas Stewart of Quarryville, NB, occurred on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at his late residence at the age of 61. Born in Toronto, ON, he was the son of the late Erchil and Marion (Raymond) Stewart. In his younger years in Ontario, Sam worked as a carnival operator.

Sam is survived by his daughter: Kayla Doyle of Quarryville, NB; granddaughter: Marion; siblings: Debbie Thomas (late Larry Prince) of Moncton, NB; Donnie Stewart (Karen) of Toronto, ON; Erchil Stewart (Patricia) Brampton, ON; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Sam is predeceased by brother: David.

The family will receive visitors at St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church, Renous on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 11 AM-1 PM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:15 PM with Fr. Paul Doucet officiating.
