Lomer Josesph Thériault of Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick, passed away at Shannex-Losier Hall on March 24, 2025, at the age of 93.

Born in Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick, on April 2, 1931, he was the son of the late Dominique and Hilda (Cyr) Thériault.  Lomer worked for Beaver Lumber in Windsor, Ontario, for 35 years.  After retirement he moved back home to Baie-Sainte-Anne.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and attended Sainte-Anne’s Catholic Church, Baie-Sainte-Anne.

Lomer is survived by his daughter, Denise Miller (Dan) of Windsor, Ontario; two sons: Paul Thériault of Windsor, Ontario, and Roger Thériault of Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick; three grandchildren: Sara, Rachel, and Ryan; two great-grandchildren: Chase, Hayes, Théa and Sophie; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  He was the last surviving member of his family.  He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Laurette (Turbide) Thériault; as well as many brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held at the Sister Blondine Martin Slumber Room, 5353 Route 117, Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick, on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sainte-Anne’s Catholic Church, Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick, on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with The Reverend Father Jean Bélisle as Celebrant.  Interment will be in Sainte-Anne’s Catholic Cemetery.
