The death of Alberta “Bertie” Anne Betts of Losier Hall and formerly of Millerton, NB, occurred on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the Miramichi Hospital at the age of 78. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret (Walls) Betts. In her younger years, Bertie attended the Kinsmen School in Newcastle and enjoyed coloring, puzzles and attending and participating in the activities at Losier Hall.

Bertie is survived by several cousins and their families.

The family will receive visitors at Jardine Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral at 10:30 AM with Pastor Tom Ettinger officiating. Burial will take place in the family plot at Ferguson Presbyterian Cemetery later in the spring.
