Bridge Work Completed early. Both Lanes Open Today

Good news for motorists today. The DOT tells us that the Centennial Bridge is open as usual today after announcing that it would be closed to one lane on the 21st and 22nd. The maintenance on the bridge that was slotted for those two days was completed sooner than expected. Future work to be beginning in July.

The bridge work is done? I thought they were still prepping it…didn’t they notice that your vehicle is pulled from side to side when you drive across it? Anyone feel safe driving on that thing?

No, not the whole bridge project, it was supposed to be closed to one one today, but the finished the work yesterday. So, open all weekend without delays.

MO should dedicate a section entirely to the bridge and road work on the river. Lets just hope the city doesn`t decide to do road work on the alternate routes while the centennial bridge is down to one lane in July and Aug.
